Save Some for Tomorrow
It was a beautiful day for fishing on the Tomorrow River today, despite predictions of thunderstorms and temperatures in the high 90s. Reality was low 80s and pleasantly sunny.
I spent the morning in the river, and the fish were cooperative but mostly small. I caught and released about equal numbers of brookies and browns.
After fishing was done, I headed to Stevens Point for a late breakfast at The Wooden Chair (can’t beat the huevos rancheros omelette). Then I stopped for a dip at Lake Emily county park beach on the way home.
Happy Memorial Day, and keep those lines tight!
